 Her full name is Mayanthara Shanali Weerasinghe.  But for love everyone calls her Sheno.  Although she was born in Colombo, she grew up in the Kurunegala area.  Being an actress has been a dream of Shanali since she was a child.  So she will be able to get her first acting opportunity through Susila Productions.  Not only that, she gets the chance to play the lead role.  It was a special and lucky opportunity that not many actresses get.
