In Sri Lanka today, there are very few people who come forward in the field of dance.  Dance is a very valuable part of art.  A lot of people don't like to dance, but a lot of people like to wait to see a dance.  So if we have the ability to support and create an organ in any work we do for dance, it is very valuable.  So today we are going to talk about a family that came forward in dance.  That is Channa Wijewardena.  Everyone recognizes a character by name.  Because he is a character who has done a great service for the art of dance in Sri Lanka.  So many people know that he has a daughter to take the talent he inherited from his parents to the next level.  Her name is Aseka.  A beautiful young woman.  The son of a family is the heir of the family.  A strength to the family.  But in a family without a son, a daughter gets it all.  Aseka is such a proud daughter.
