Dinesh Chandimal is not a new name for cricket fans in our country.  He also captained the Sri Lanka Cricket team for some time.  However, we do not see him in the cricket field at this time.  So far he has scored 11 Test and 4 ODI centuries in his cricket career.  Chandimal started his cricket career at Dharmasoka College, Ambalangoda, his first school.  He later entered Ananda College, Colombo for education and led the under 17 team there.  After Chandimal left school, he joined the Nondescripts Cricket Club and later the Sri Lanka National Cricket Team.  Dinesh Chandimal was married to his long time girlfriend Isika Jayasekara.  So today is the wedding anniversary of these two.  Dinesh Chandimal had posted a note on his Facebook account in this regard.
