One of the most popular teledramas these days is the Sangeetha teledrama telecast on Derana.  Also, two famous characters in the teledrama are Nishani Teacher and Nissanka Sir.  By now, those two are two popular characters that everyone loves.  In real life, Hansani Wimalasiri and Naveen Dilshan act as husband and wife in the same drama and almost no one knows that they are husband and wife in real life.  With the advent of music and teledramas, they have gained a lot of attention.  Hansini Wimalsiri was invited to perform in the Derana Channel's 'Dream Dum Star's' Seventh Season 9.  She has also acted in several tele films such as Exodus, Giridurga and Hasuna.  As a teacher of the character she plays in music, many people call her Nishani Teacher when they see her on the street.
